Project Description

This bespoke two-storey dwelling at Wellbank extends to approximately 163m², with a layout designed to balance open-plan living and defined private spaces. The ground floor centres around a generous kitchen and living area with utility and WC, alongside a flexible third bedroom, while the first floor provides two further bedrooms, a bathroom and an additional sitting area with access to a balcony. Externally, the clean gabled form is expressed through white render, natural stone, charred timber cladding and aluminium glazing, creating a contemporary rural aesthetic.

Internally, the project is defined by precise detailing and a warm, modern palette. Oak staircases and joinery contrast against crisp walls, large-format tiling and matt black fittings bring cohesion to the bathrooms, and a statement island kitchen with veined worktops and handleless cabinetry anchors the main living space. Sliding doors connect seamlessly to the landscaped terrace, delivering a refined, well-resolved home inside and out. Clear Developments acted as main contractor and worked with the client from early concept through to handover.
