Meet The Team
Alex Beattie
As Director of Clear Developments, Alex helps lead our role as a Principal Contractor delivering high-quality residential, commercial and custom-build projects. Alex leads our on-site operations with a focus on delivering projects safely, on programme and of consistently high quality.
Alex’s experience spans the full breadth of residential construction acting in the capacity of principal contractor and project manager ranging from single-unit developments and refurbishments through to 100+ unit city centre high rise apartment schemes. Alex also has experience in the delivery of commercial and public sector facilities.
From bespoke private homes to large-scale housing partnerships and commercial projects, Alex is involved across the full project lifecycle, from early design and planning through to construction, handover and aftercare.
Adrice Edgar
As Director of Clear Developments, Adrice leads our commercial & technical functions with a focus on certainty, quality and long-term value.
His background spans principal contracting, civil and structural engineering, refurbishment, speculative development, and large-scale new build schemes, giving him the 360° perspective required to deliver complex projects from concept through to completion.
He specialises in unlocking value in technically challenging assets, including brownfield and underutilised sites, through strategic planning, robust project management and disciplined commercial control.
Adrice’s experience to date includes the commercial management of projects with combined GDV’s up to ca. £200m and 600 units at any one time for PLC companies consistently achieving profitable and sustainable outcomes. Since going into business for himself, he has led multi-million-pound developments in both contractor and consultancy roles, ranging from bespoke single custom builds to 100+ unit residential schemes.
